The Best Places to Snorkel on Nusa Penida

Nusa penida

As one of the most diverse underwater ecosystems in the world, Nusa Penida snorkeling places are known as some of the best snorkeling spots in the world.

The Crystal Bay Area

The snorkeling spots on Nusa Penida do not offer too many options for shore snorkeling. However, Crystal Bay is one of the few sandy beaches where snorkelers of all levels can take advantage of the shallow water and easy access to the shore in order to explore beautiful coral reefs.

The clear water in Crystal Bag and the vibrant corals there will surely amaze you, and sometimes even turtles can be seen here. I am sure that snorkeling in this area will amaze you.

Manta Bay

There are few experiences as memorable as swimming with an enormous manta ray, and Nusa Penida is the perfect location for this life-changing adventure. This magnificent filter feeding creature is present throughout the year due to the rich currents around Nusa Penida.

Gamat Bay

As a result of the difficult access to this secluded little beach, very few tourists visit it. It was our intention to go there from land, but unfortunately, we did not make it… There is a dirt track that leads down to Gamat Bay, but there is a narrow, steep path that requires you to climb, so you can only manage it by wearing proper sport shoes in the last part of it.

Toyapakeh Wall Point

Toyapakeh Wall has a unique abundance of fish and large colonies of coral making it the dive spot of choice for divers of all levels, as it is one of the most popular dive spots in Nusa Penida. Large pelagic species like Mola Mola fish are also frequent visitors to this reef. In addition to being a great dive spot, Toyapakeh Wall also makes for a great snorkeling spot.

The Best Places to Snorkel on Nusa Lembongan

Nusa penida

Nusa Lembongan is a small island just off the coast of Bali with some of the best beaches and diving in the world. Whether you’re a bucket lister, a scuba diver, a sunbather, a swimmer, or just enjoy the beach, Nusa Lembongan is one of the best places in the world to relax and enjoy the water.

Mushroom Bay

As far as swimming goes, Mushroom Bay is the best beach in Nusa Lembongan. This was the most beachy beach on the island. The water looked like it was an ideal turquoise color. There were a couple of restaurants along the water, but they were high above the beach, rather than directly on the sand, so there was plenty of space to swim. There were quite a few boats in the water, but plenty of space for swimming.

It is because of this that there were not any lounge chairs on the beach, nor any beanbag chairs either, where people could relax and unwind. Likewise, there were no umbrellas offering shade from the sun..

Nusa Lembongan Beach

A Nusa Lembongan beach, also known as Junigut Batu Beach or the Main Beach, is one of the longest and most popular beaches on the island for sunbathing. The south side of this beach is the most touristic as well. You will see a harbor on the south side of the beach, where most of the ferries arrive and depart from. On the north, you will find only snorkeling and diving tour boats in the water. At low tide, you can see miles of sand. As a result of the coral on the beach, it is not a great place for swimming as it is hard to walk out into the water.

Mangrove Beach

A mangrove beach is an attractive place where trees grow from the sand. In the distance, you can see Mount Agung on Bali’s mainland. There are several restaurants along the shoreline that are worth checking out. There is a lot of coral in the area, and the area is known for being a great place to learn how to dive. It is relatively shallow, making it a good place to learn how to dive.

Nusa Penida

During your Nusa Penida snorkeling package, you will receive snorkeling equipment as part of the package, which includes a snorkel, mask, fins, and drinking water, which you will need in order to enjoy your snorkeling experience.

It should be noted, however, that when snorkeling in Nusa Penida, you should also bring some necessary items so that you can be as comfortable as possible.

  1. Bring swimwear and a towel.
  2. Wear sunblock, sunglasses, and a hat.
  3. Pack a waterproof camera, phone, and money pouch.
  4. Drink a dehydration beverage, because only drinking plain water isn’t enough to replace all the nutrients you lose while swimming.

Tips for Snorkeling on Nusa Lembongan

It is important to point out the fact that the food in Java is not expensive, as it is just as cheap as Bali. For incredible local food, check out the WBC Warung in Jl. Jungutbatu.

There are a few places where you can have a western meal, one of which is Mickey’s Sports Bar. There’s a Cordon Bleu that’s mouth-watering, and delicious, and more expensive, but they have darts and a small pool table. Happy hour is also a great time for going there.

Nusa Ceningan is the closest and smallest of the Nusa islands, but the Yellow Bridge is still under construction. In order to get to Nusa Ceningan, one actually has to take a boat. Nusa Ceningan has some stunning beaches and cliff jump areas. It would be best to visit this little island if you have the time, so if you are able to, do so.

On this island, you will only find one ATM, so make sure you have a lot of money with you.

How to Get to Nusa Penida & Nusa Lembongan

Whether you want to arrange a sightseeing trip from Bali to Lembongan, go on a day trip to Penida or visit one the many seaside bars on the island of Ceningan, traveling in different countries can be confusing, scary and stressful.

Travelling From Bali To Nusa Lembongan And Then On To Nusa Penida

If you would like to travel from Sanur, Bali to Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Penida or vice versa, you have a number of options to choose from.

– A luxurious cruise ship that spares no expense in providing the best experience possible.

The most economical option would be to use a traditional fishing boat, but it would take 90 minutes rather than 30 minutes. There are two types of fast boats: Fast Boat, which is the middle ground between cost and speed. We would prefer you not to swim, but you are free to do so if you wish.

It is highly recommended that you take a fast boat in Sanur. Many companies offer fast boats in Sanur, but Rocky Fast Cruises, Glory, and D’Camel are our favorites. The reason we choose these companies is that we’ve had good experiences with the staff, they are always punctual, and they are comfortable (depending on how tall you are).

There is no additional charge if you are staying in a Bali hotel or airport, but if you are staying in an area in Bali that is further away from the airport/hotel or base, there may be additional charges.

You can cross it by scooter or walking. Because it is too narrow for trucks to cross, plan accordingly!
